If you are age 55 or older, you may complete this course to receive a mandatory discount on your vehicle liability insurance (CA Insurance Code section 11828.3) Your Insurance reduction is good for 3 years after completion of the course.

CA Mature Driver Improvement Course (Refresher)

If you are age 55 or older and have already taken the initial course (listed above), you can complete this course to maintain your vehicle liability insurance discount for 3 more years (as provided under section 11628.3 of the California insurance code). If more than one year has passed since the expiration of your insurance discount, then the initial course must be completed again.
